Padang – FE UNP. The motivation is a driving force to carry out activities to achieve objectives. For people who have big goals and high motivation, success is just a matter of time. That is, sooner or later success will find them. Therefore, the motivation is necessary for young people, especially college students, so that they have the resilience and creativity in every aspects of their lives. This notion was stated by Ellies Sutrisna, The CEO of Excellent Group, who became the speaker and the motivator on The Motivation Seminar on last Tuesday, 30th November 2016.
Futhermore, Ellies emphasized that basically anyone can be a failure magnet or a success magnet. It depends on his motivation, discipline and resilience. An individual who become the failure magnet is always looking for excuses and blame others. So that at every failure he experienced, he will not try to improve himself. Whereas, an individual who become the success magnet is one with the opposite characteristics. He has a toughness and high creativity. He strives to capture opportunities and does not procrastinate.
The Motivation Seminar was held by The Association of Bidikmisi at Auditorium Prof. Kamaludin, Faculty of Economics. The opening speech was presented by The Vice Dean III, Dr. Efrizal Syofyan, SE, MSi, Ak, CA. Vice Dean III expressed his appreciation to the speakers and the seminar organizinf committee who had successfully organized this event. The Vice Dean emoahasized his hopes that the Bidikmisi awardees would actively participated in the entire series of Bidikmisi events which would be held during November and December 2016 (YFZ-SD).
