Padang - UNP. Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) Competition for students is held every two years at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). The activity aims to facilitate a sound understanding and application of Islamic value in the university as well as to scout and to prepare candidates for the national competition.
This year’s event was opened by the Rector of UNP who was represented by the Vice Rector III, Prof. Dr. Syahrial Bakhtiar, M.Pd. In the event, the Faculty of Economics has achieved won his accomplishments as Champion.
The delegation’s members of FE UNP who had became the winners in the event were Junia Safitri for The 1st Winner in Female Qur’an Recitation, Windi Pradana and M. Rayhan for The 1st and 2nd Winner in Male Hifdzil Juz, as well as a team of Mira Puteri Dewi, Weni Avri Rahmi, and Suci Rahmadani for The 1st Winner in Group Syarhil.
In addition, Ibnu Aqil Musthafa got The 2nd Winner in Male Qur’an Recitation as well as M. Arizal, Egi Luscandra, and M. Haseb got the 2nd Winner in Group Fahmil, and Dola Soviana got the 3rd Winner in Female Tartil. (SD-YFZ)
