Padang – FE UNP. The internet facilitates connectivity between people. Indeed, by using the internet, any one can easily disseminate and look for information. This opens huge opportunities for businesses, especially in marketing their products. Motivated by this, The Student Association of Department of Management (HMJ Manajemen) held a National Seminar on Internet Marketing by using a theme “Bringing The Young Generation To Build The Nation With IT/ Technology.”
This Seminar presented practicioners in internet marketing, i.e. Faldo Maldini (the founder of pulangkampung.com), Ogy Winenriandhika (the founder of @scrawifebag) and Dafri Donaldi (the Chairman of HIPMI PT UNP). The students of the Faculty of Economics participated in this national seminar. The Seminar was held in the Auditorium Prof. Kamaludin and was opened by The Vice Dean III, Dr. Efrizal Syofyan, SE, MSi, Ak, CA. In his speech, The Vice Dean III suggested the students to take advantage of the opportunities preseted by the internet marketing, as well as to maximize the promising potentials (YFZ-SD).
