The SEA Teacher or Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia is a program organized by the Minister of Education of Southeast Asia through the SEAMEO Council (Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization) which is engaged in education with Southeast Asian countries. This SEA Teacher program is an educational exchange program for teaching students in ASEAN countries. SEA Teacher aims to improve the quality of education in Southeast Asia, which is one of SEAMEO's priority fields.

SEA Teacher Batch 7 will be held from 7 January to 4 February 2019 which will be participated in by various universities in Southeast Asia. This program provides an opportunity for students from universities in Southeast Asia to do practicum (teaching experience) in state schools in Southeast Asia. UNP FE Economics Education Students who participated in SEA Teacher in 2019 were Nadia Ayu Rifani Putri at Benguet State University and Fadilla Ulfah at Saint Marys' University (SMU), Philippines.

The main agenda that was followed by Economic Education students in the Batch 7 SEA Teacher program was to practice teaching. Teaching practices are conducted at the Senior Hight School of Saint Marys' University (SMU) Philippines in grades 11 and 12, and in BSU-Secondary Laboratory School grades 7 and 9. Before conducting teaching practice students take part in mentoring the making of lesson plans and learning media. Besides these main activities students also take part in other activities in the form of sharing, cultural exchange, and outbound. In this SEA Teacher activity, students also learn about the cultural and economic conditions in the Philippines. This SEA Teacher activity is felt very useful and adds insight and experience of UNP Economic Education students who take part in this program especially in the practice of teaching in international classes.
