Padang - FE UNP. The Krida of an event for the new students to discover and develop their interests and talents in the Faculty of Economics UNP. Therefore, in The Krida, the new students are encouraged to explore their creativity and potentials. It is hoped that following the Krida, new talents will appear in the Faculty of Economics, either in arts, sports, and other fields. This was expressed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Yunia Wardi, Drs., M.Si, in his opening speech for the Krida on 4 September 2016 at in the Auditorium of Prof. Kamaluddin.
In addition, the Dean also mentioned his expectation for the future achievements of the Faculty, especially in nonacademic areas, such as sports, arts, martial arts and so forth. Thus, by doing so, the Faculty of Economics will not only be known as a leading faculty in economics and business, but also in other important fields.
On this occasion, the Vice Dean III, Dr. Efrizal Syofyan, SE., M.Sc., Akt., CA., also expressed that Krida is not an opportunity to exploit the new students. It actually aims to capture new interests and talents as well as to build brotherhood between the new students, their seniors and the faculty staff.
The Krida was held for 5 times, every Sunday, starting from September 4 to October 2 later. (sd)
